It's no news to anyone that music elevates any situation to a new, sometimes spiritual level. Playlists become the soundtrack to our lives and hearing a song can take you right back to the summer you blasted it non-stop as you drank on your friend's rooftop, or the winter you did nothing but lay in the sun, listen to the 1975 and read poetry.
I've currently got two playlists on my phone (among others) that are called "All time feels" and "A mood", each of these playlists represents some of the different sides to my personality and also what I'm in the mood for on different days! They are just perfect playlists for a road trip no matter what the weather.
My personal recommendation is to blast "All time feels" when you just want some feel good bangers (not the typical backyard BBQ type though) and to put on "A mood" when it's a rainy, gloomy day and you're feeling alllll of the angsty and moody feels.
